Do you want to be on God's side?

I am including some of my photos of the tsunami in Thailand, Dec. 26th, 2004,to show you more of what is to come according to Bible prophecy! The Lord seems to have spared His people. I don't know of any Christians in Thailand that lost their lives. I was on another island in the Gulf of Siam when I saw the news, and had a chance to travel with a team of about 12 to do volunteer work in the aftermath, 10 days following the tsunami.

Prophecy in the Body of Christ should always be consistent with biblical prophecy. I trust these articles are a balance of the two, and will help you to consider how you can get ready for the tribulation that is coming on this earth, that is prophesied in the Bible, and is being revealed by the Holy Spirit to men and women today, through dreams and visions and even angelic appearances, as well as through the Holy Bible.

Why I want you to be on God’s side! Part I

1. There will be great economic problems on this earth. (Joel 1, Rev. 6:5,6)
However, if you trust in God, He will provide all your needs. (Matt. 6:33)

2. There will be famine – 25 % of all people will die.

Rev 6:8 And I saw, and behold, a pale green horse, and the name of the one sitting on it. Hades followed after him. And authority was given to them to kill over the fourth of the earth with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

But the good news is that God will provide for His people. Psa 33:18 Behold the eye of Jehovah (God) is to those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy; 19 to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

3. There will be great signs in the sky and on the earth and everyone will be afraid, even all the kings of the earth.

Rev 6:12 And I saw when He opened the sixth seal. And behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair; and the moon became as blood; 13 and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind casts its unripe figs. 14 And the heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the powerful ones, and every slave, and every freeman hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. 16 And "they said to the mountains" and to the rocks, "Fall on us," and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. 17 because the great day of His wrath has come; and who is able to stand? When you see stars falling like fig trees get ready for a great earthquake and make sure you are in a safe place.

Great news for God's people – After this the saints (believers in Christ Jesus) will be sealed (protected) in Rev. 7. Some people believe this is only the Jews, but I believe the 144,000 could  represent an indefinite number of saints from both the old and new testament (12 tribes x 12 apostles to the thousands = 144,000 = could represent an indefinite number of saints from the old and new testament era..

4. 33 percent of the earth will be burned up and 33 per cent of the waters turned to blood. The sun and moon will be 33 percent darker.

Rev 8:7 And the first angel trumpeted. And hail and fire mixed with blood occurred. And it was cast onto the earth; and the third part of the trees was burned down; and all green grass was burned down. 8 And the second angel trumpeted. And as a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. And the third part of the sea became blood; 9 and the third part of the creatures having souls died in the sea; and the third part of the ships was destroyed. 10 And the third angel trumpeted. And a great burning star, like a lamp, fell out of the heaven. And it fell onto the third part of the rivers, and onto the springs of waters. 12 And the fourth angel trumpeted. And the third part of the sun, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, was struck, that the third part of them might be darkened, and the third part of the day might not appear; and in the same way the night.

5. Locusts that sting like scorpions will come out of a bottomless pit and torture all those who are not protected by God for 5 months. People will seek death and not find it. (Revelation 9:1-11)

Good news for God's people - But rejoice if you are one of the 144,000, because you will be sealed and protected.

6. An army of 200 million comes (Rev. 9:16) and a third of mankind is killed by fire, smoke and brimstone (sounds like a nuclear war.)

7. A demon (beast) comes out of the sea, having 10 horns and seven heads. (Rev. 13:1-6). The whole earth is amazed at a miracle that takes place (a fatal wound is healed) and they follow the beast. He has authority to act for 42 months. He blasphemes God. He makes war with the saints, and authority is given him over all nations.

All those who are on earth will worship him, except those whose names are written in the Book of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. (Rev. 13:7-8)

Then another beast comes out of the earth – he has 2 horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon. He makes everyone worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. (Rev. 13:11-13). He performs great miracles in order to deceive those on the earth. He tells everyone to make an image of the first beast and worship him. He even gives breath to this image to make it speak and to cause those who don’t worship the image to be killed. (Rev. 13:14-16). All people will be given a mark (microchip) on their forehead or their right hand, and they cannot buy or sell without this mark. The number of the beast is 666. (Rev. 13:17-18)

Good News for God's people - God’s people will escape to Mt. Zion, which could be both in heaven and in earth. (Rev. 14:1).  This is probably also the time when Jesus comes in the clouds (Matt. 24:29-31) and also descends on the Mount of Olives. (Zechariah 14:4)

8. Babylon – the beast’s kingdom will be called Babylon and those who don’t escape to Mt. Zion (Isaiah 66:19,20) will continue to live in Babylon. The beast will be given authority for 42 months before the Battle of Armageddon.

9. There are seven more judgments now directed against the Beast of the Sea and the Earth (False Prophet) and their followers in the Kingdom of Babylon.

Bowl 1- grievous sores
Bowl 2 – all sea becomes blood – all life dies.
Bowl 3 – all rivers and fountains become blood
Bowl 4 – the sun burns men with heat – they blaspheme God.
Bowl 5 – throne of beast darkened – great pain
Bowl 6 - River Euphrates dries up – Kings from east prepare - 3 unclean spirits come out of the mouth of the dragon and the beast and the false prophet to prepare all nations to battle.
Bowl 7 – Babylon, the kingdom of the beast, is destroyed. Rev 16:19-21 And the great city came to be into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the anger of His wrath. And every island fled away, and mountains were not found. And a great hail, as the size of a talent, came down out of the heaven on men. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague of it was exceedingly great.

10. Battle of Armageddon – Jesus comes to rule with a rod of iron (Rev.19:11) There will be no rebellion. Rev. 19:20 – beast and false prophet thrown into lake of fire and brimstone. There will be one thousand years of peace and Jesus will rule the earth from Jerusalem. Satan is bound
for 1,000 years. (Rev. 20:2-5)

Great news for God’s people - All nations will go up to worship Jesus at Jerusalem. The animals will live in peace with man. There will be no wars.

Isa 11:6 And the wolf shall live with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall feed, their young shall lie together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the infant shall play on the hole of the asp; yea, the weaned child shall put his hand on the viper's den. 9 They shall not do evil, nor destroy in all My holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed as one; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And dust is the food of the snake. They shall not do evil nor destroy in all My holy mountain, says Jehovah.

11. At the end of 1,000 years, Satan is released from the bottomless pit. He goes out to deceive the nations one more time. He brings them to the Battle of Gog and Magog. God sends fire from heaven and destroys this army. Satan is thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone with the beast and the false prophet, and they are tormented forever and ever. (Rev. 20:7-10)

12. Day of Judgment – Rev. 20:11-15 Those who don’t know God and believe in His Son Jesus Christ, will be cast into everlasting darkness.

Great news for God’s people - A new heaven and a new earth – Rev. 21,22 – eternal life in heaven for those whose names are written in the Book of Life. There will be streets of gold, crystal streams, no more death or sickness.
